Cooking New Stories teamed up with the talented MasterChef: The Professionals semi-finalist Luciana Berry and Dennison Smith from The Baldwin Gallery, bringing to life a unique Boteco Brasil Supper Clubs series, mixing food, live music and art.
Full house!
Seats were in high demand and we had the honour of welcoming a nearly full house on Friday the 14th and were completely sold out of tickets in advance for Saturday the 15th.
WHe Brought Brazilian vibes to the fullest!
Dennison’s home, kitchen and art gallery embraced Luciana’s tasteful stories and resonated perfectly with the music of Aleh Ferreira (Friday) and Heidi Vogel (Saturday). Songs such as Mas que nada (Sergio Mendes) were on the set list, creating a relaxed atmosphere with some guests dancing to the tunes while others just enjoying the soundtrack and chatting with new friends.
Guests were able to experience a taste of Brazilian culture and learn about the origins of Boteco cooking, which is steeped in tradition and contemporary innovation. The Baldwin’s environmental themed exhibition brought a powerful twist to the event, and the evening was one that will not be easily forgotten!
